Do we Need Supplements? |
| I woke up this morning believing
a UK government warning had gone out: "Pills are a waste of money
and may damage health". Then I realised it had all been a dream.
Of course the government wouldn't send out a warning like that. Nevertheless,
the government came close enough to the above statement. The statement
read: "Vitamin pills are a waste of money and may damage health." |
Diuretics |
| Diuretics are commonly known as "water-tablets"
because they are seen to drive out excess water the body is holding
on to. This treatment approach implies that the excess water, if at
all present, is the cause of the disease or will, at least, alleviate
the symptoms. |

Hormones - A Picture of Life |
| A recent report (December 2005) from the
Royal College of Physicians has found that the UK public tend to see
the medical profession as negative, defensive and self-serving and
goes on to suggest that doctors should start to see themselves as
partners in care with patients and other health professionals instead
of the authoritarian figures they have become, laying down the law. |

The Essence of Life - The Destroyer of Life |
| What had changed, if anything, before
the rise in cancer deaths observed in Vienna early in the twentieth
century? They had started to sterilise the city's drinking water.
Nowadays there is hardly a city where water is not disinfected or
sterilised through the addition of chlorine, compounds of silver or
irradiation with quartz lamps. |

Drugs |
| The specific therapy of virus infections
is generally unsatisfactory and treatment is, therefore, primarily
symptomatic. Fortunately, the majority of infections resolve spontaneously
in the immunocompetent. |
|
| Even the name suggests it
isn't much: the common cold. Common as muck. It is around a lot. Everybody
knows about it. Not many secrets left then? Well, that's a bit of
a sore point within the medical profession. |
| Cancer |
| In our society, cancer is not regarded
as one, single disease. The medical profession has classified
more than one hundred clinically distinct forms of cancer, with
differing biological behaviours and clinical manifestations. |

is simply no other tool like this in the world. Designed specifically
for students and professionals, the interactive menu design allows
you to easily review the various massage techniques. |

| "I highly recommend this
DVD to any massage student. Especially when studying for exams. It
just makes sense!" "I often refer to this DVD in my own
practice. In my 7 years as a massage therapist, I have not come across
a more complete and practical massage video". |
